Maureen O’Connell
Founder of Maureen O’Connell & Associates and former FBI professional, Maureen brings decades of experience in forensic investigation, intelligence, and high-level casework. Her leadership is defined by precision, discretion, and the ability to navigate complex, high-stakes situations with clarity and control.
Maureen O’Connell is President and CEO of Maureen O’Connell & Associates (MOA), providing a comprehensive range of security and investigative services to a highly discerning clientele.
Maureen retired from the FBI in 2016 after 25 years as a Special Agent, where she worked White Collar Crime, Violent Street Gangs, and Major Narcotics. From 1991 to 2014, she served as a member of the FBI’s Evidence Response Team (ERT), responding to bombings and complex crime scenes throughout the world. She was also a longtime member of the FBI’s Rapid Deployment Team (RDT), a specialized unit designed to support missions both domestically and internationally, including terrorist incidents, crimes against U.S. interests abroad, and requests for assistance from foreign governments. Her knowledge of forensics and extensive crime scene experience are unparalleled.
Maureen concluded her FBI career as the Regional Coordinator of InfraGard, the Bureau’s public-private sector outreach program. In this role, she became deeply involved in critical infrastructure and key resource (CIKR) protection. She was also assigned to the elite CIKR team at the Joint Regional Intelligence Center, where she addressed the security needs of the nation’s most vulnerable assets through physical security assessments, customized training, and the coordination of multiple agencies and strategic partners.
